Organized by the China Chemical Industry Association, China Chemical Education Association and the Ministry of Education Chemical Engineering Teaching Guidance Committee, hosted by Nanjing Forestry University, 2016 "Integrity Cup" East China Chemical Design Competition and the Tenth National College Students Chemical Design Competition East District trials came to an end. The team of "Shanghai TJ200092" was formed by Yang Shiqi (captain), Qin Wei, Zhen Ziheng, Yang Qiong and Xu Xiaojiang, who are senior students from our school. After more than four months of careful preparation, under the guidance of teacher Wu Yanhui and Prof Li Ming, the team passed through the preliminary selection, intense rematch, and finally reached into the national competition in East China trials. Competed with other rivals through intense review, report and reply, the team won first prize in the East Division and national second prize.

This year is the first time our school students participate in this event. With attention and support of school leaders and teachers and careful help of the alumni, the five team members work together, make full use of spare time through active study and in-depth study discussion. They overcame difficulties to master required skills and complete the work design successfully. Prof Wu Yanhui paid a lot of time and effort to help and encourage students from beginning to end. She played a crucial role in the completion of the design work and the successful submission and the final access

Our schools has been paying attention to and strengthening the comprehensive ability of chemical students. We would continuingly circulate students participate in chemical design competition to promote the construction of chemical engineering, and explore ways to improve students' engineering quality and comprehensive ability of new ideas and new methods.
