I would like to let you know about the Engineering and Science Summer Program for outstanding postgraduate and senior undergraduate students offered at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology 以色列理工学院 (in Haifa-Israel) between July 29- August 28, 2015. This is an exciting opportunity for students to enhance academic profile with an advanced course in subject of interest and experience student life at the Technion and Israeli culture.
Under a special scholarship sponsored by the government of Israel, excellent students from China will receive a full scholarship covering: tuition, housing (on Technion campus), lunches (5 times a week) and $250 stipend.
As part of the program, students may take one advanced course from the following list:
Image Processing and Analysis (Electrical Engineering/Computer Science)
Introduction to Machine Learning (Electrical Engineering/Computer Science)
Non-Negtaive Matrices - Theory and Applications (Mathematics)
Principles of Guidance and Homing (Aerospace Engineering)
Advanced Inorganic Chemistry (Chemistry)
Funamentals of Physics of Atmosphere (Civil and Environmental Engineering)
Sensors and Nanotechnology (Chemical/Biotechnology Engineering)
In addition, students will take a course in Middle Eastern history. The program will include: trips around Israel, lab work and industry site visits.
