The synthesis of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with excellent luminescent properties and their effective application in the field of bionic sensing remain a formidable challenge. Herein, a series of COFs with different numbers of hydroxyl groups are successfully synthesized, and the number of hydroxyl groups on the benzene-1,3,5-tricarbaldehyde (BTA) linker influences the properties of the...
2025-01-15Graphical AbstractA universal two-step method based on autocatalytic interfacial polymerization (AIP) has enabled the synthesis of irreversibly amide-linked COF (AmCOF) membranes with Turing structures. The representative AmCOF-1 membrane with its built-in robust amide knots exhibits a good performance for H2O2 photosynthesis (4353 μmol g−1 h−1) and high stability, enabling continuous pro...
2025-01-14Host–guest chemistry represents a prominent field within many inorganic solids, where the host entity typically retains its original lattice. The hybrid composition and soft lattice of organolead halides make their structural changes and optical properties highly sensitive to host–guest interactions, distinguishing them from conventional inorganic solids. Herein, 3D electron diffraction tomog...
2025-01-10Photocatalytic overall water splitting is a promising approach for a sustainable hydrogen provision using solar energy. For sufficient solar energy utilization, this reaction ought to be operated based on visible-light-active semiconductors, which is very challenging. In this work, an F-expedited nitridation strategy is applied to modify the wide-bandgap semiconductor Sr2TiO4 for visible-light-...
