主要从事合成无机化学、有机金属化学以及生物无机化学领域的研究。在该领域的具体研究内容包括探索各种过渡金属酶的结构和反应活性位点,开发具有催化活性的新型有机金属化合物,以及与材料化学相关的无机超分子的合成。
科研团队致力于研究金属元素在各种无机系统中的作用,使之对其有全面的了解,从而能够更好地设计和有效地合成所需要的化合物。在过渡金属与有机官能团的配位作用和相关基础理论,过渡金属硫系簇合物生物酶的含金属活性中心的构建与合成等方面进行了开创性的、深入而全面的工作。
